Wolfgang Petersen, director of ‘Troy’ and ‘The Neverending Story’, dies at 81

The famed filmmaker died at his Los Angeles home in the arms of his wife, a spokesman said Tuesday.

“My memory is that of a man full of ‘joie de vivre’ (in French in the press release, editor’s note) who did what he liked to do the most,” the actress said again.
