On the eve of their concert at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, the British rock band unveiled the name, cover art and tracklist for their seventh album, due out on October 21.

Arctic Monkeys are back. On the eve of their concert at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, the British rock band, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, announced the release of a new album, called Carfor October 21.

Revealed four years after their previous album Tranquility Base Hotel + Casinothis seventh project is revealed through a tracklist of 10 titles and a cover in which we see a car in the middle of a totally deserted parking lot on the roof of a building.

Unreleased songs played in concert

There is currently no single available, but Arctic Monkeys performed the title for the first time. I’m not exactly where I think I am present on the album, during a concert at the Swiss festival Zurich Openair, this Tuesday night.

Recorded between the studios in London, Suffolk and La Frette, near Paris, Car is now available for pre-order. Arctic Monkeys will tour South America in November and then Oceania in January 2023.
