Legal setbacks: Ezra Miller apologizes and maintains his commitment to star in “The Flash”

Arrested for assault and charged with robbery, the comedian has met with Warner Bros. to discuss the future of “The Flash” movie, scheduled for June 2023.

Ezra Miller will play well in The flash. According to the media the hollywood reporterthe actor, arrested for assault and accused of robbery, exchanged this week with the new presidents of Warner Bros. Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, in order to maintain the launch of The flashscheduled for June 2023.

During this meeting, the star, accompanied by his agent Scott Metzger, apologized for giving the film bad publicity due to his recent arrests and reaffirmed his commitment to the franchise.

“A period of great crisis”

For several months, Ezra Miller has frequently been on the front page for his legal mishaps. Last March, the comedian was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar in Hawaii. The star was also arrested by Vermont State Police for stealing alcohol from a man’s home last May.

These multiple high-profile accusations have damaged the image of the comedian, who until then had been banned from any future projects related to Warner Bros and DC and deprived of public appearance for the promotion of upcoming DC movies.

But in mid-August, Ezra Miller came out of silence to apologize for his behavior and announce ongoing treatment for “very complex mental health issues.”

“I just went through a period of great crisis. […] I want to apologize to all the people I may have scared and worried with my past attitude. I am doing what it takes to find a healthy and productive environment,” Ezra Miller said in a news release broadcast on variety.
