Anthology follows US governments from the perspective of women who lived in the White House
The miniseries “The First Lady”, a Showtime anthology that follows the governments of the United States from the perspective of women who lived in the White House, opened with a score of 45 on Metacritic, a series that gathers the evaluations of specialized critics.

“The First Lady” aims to reformulate the existing idea of American leadership from the perspective of women who lived in the White House. Besides Viola Davis (“How To Get Away With Murder”) as Michelle Obamathe production will Gillian Anderson (“Sex Education”) as Eleanor Roosevelt and Michelle Pfeiffer (“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”) as Betty Ford.
Dakota Fanning (“The Great”), Clea DuVal (“Anybody Tell?”), Charlie Plummer (“Who are you, Alasca?”), OT Fagbenle, lily rabe, Kiefer Sutherland, Aaron Eckhart, Judy Greer, Jayme Lawson, Kristine Froseth and Lexi Underwood complete the list.
The direction will be Susanne Bier (“The Undoing”) and will have Cathy Schulman (“The Space Between Us”) as showrunner. The series premieres in Brazil on April 18 on Paramount+, the day after its US launch on Showtime.
