Public health reported Wednesday 30 more deaths, 19 fewer hospitalizations and 1,630 new COVID-19 cases.
As a result of these additional deaths, the number of people killed in COVID-19 in Quebec increased to 15,066.
Compared to the previous toll, a total of 2,176 people were hospitalized due to the coronavirus, and 78 of them were in intensive care, an increase of 2. In particular, 164 people were admitted to the hospital and 183 were discharged.
Since the pandemic began, Quebec has identified 1,047,462 people infected.
On May 2, 17,745 samples were obtained.
So far, public health has counted 202,424 self-reported rapid tests: 165,565 tested positive.
On Tuesday alone, there were 444 self-reported rapid tests; 389 of them were positive.
