Public health reported Thursday that 2,119 people were hospitalized in Quebec because of COVID-19, 57 less than the day before.
Of this number, 64 patients were in intensive care, 14 less than the previous report.
According to data from the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS), another 150 COVID-19 patients were admitted to the hospital in the past 24 hours, while 207 patients were discharged.
Eighteen more patients also died of COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 15,084 since the pandemic began.
Quebec also listed 1,416 new infections, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Quebec to 1,048,878 since February 2020.
However, the number of cases identified does not represent the situation, as access to screening centers is only possible for groups considered priority.
So far, more than 91% of Quebecers aged 5 and over have received a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 54% have received the third dose and 10% the fourth dose, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Quebec Social Services.
