Four other patients also died of COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 15,143 since the pandemic began.

Quebec also identified 622 new cases of the infection, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Quebec to 1,052,637 since February 2020.

However, the number of cases identified does not represent the situation, as access to screening centers is only possible for groups considered priority.

So far, more than 91% of Quebecers aged 5 and over have received a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 54% have received the third dose and 11% the fourth dose, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Quebec Social Services.
