Canada currently has 112 cases of monkeypox virus infection, Canada’s Public Health Agency reported on Friday. Of these 112 cases, 98 were identified in Quebec, 9 in Ontario, 4 in Alberta and one case in British Columbia.
All of those infected were men between the ages of 20 and 63, most of whom reported having sex with other men, explained Canada’s Public Health Agency chief executive, Dr Theresa Tam.
