Nearly 115,000 Hydro-Québec customers were without electricity on Saturday night, mainly in Montreal, Laurentians and Montérégie. The state-owned company tweeted that it was “strong winds [qui] caused damage and loss ”in many locations in its network.

According to Environment Canada, the wind blew up to 74 km/h.
