Two motorists were arrested with high levels of alcohol in Sherbrooke

Two drivers arrested over the weekend in Sherbrooke with blood alcohol levels in excess of the legal limit will face driving charges.

A man in his thirties was arrested three times for exceeding the legal limit of his alcohol. The man fled the scene of a collision on Claire-Jolicoeur Street overnight from Sunday to Monday.

The collision caused fluid to leak into the vehicle. Police followed the path. They quickly found the suspectexplanation of the spokesman for the Service de police de Sherbrooke (SPS), Benoit Pellerin.

His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days. His vehicle will also be picked up within 30 days.

Police are strictly avoiding collisions

A woman driving her vehicle with a blood alcohol level in excess of twice the legal limit nearly caused an accident in a patrol vehicle on Saturday night through Sunday.

The driver showed symptoms of driving disability. He was placed under arrest.
