A swindler was arrested for six years in Granby

Granby Police Department officials proceeded Wednesday morning to arrest Andrée Brault, 66, a swindler wanted for nearly six years. He must show up during the day at Granby’s courthouse.

In 2016, the lady was convicted of fraud on more than $ 80,000, but never showed up at the courthouse when she heard her sentence.

We have information that this woman left the country following the issuance of a warrant of arrest. Randomly, checks were made on the woman’s files, either in the Quebec vehicle register or otherwisesaid Granby police spokesman Marc Farand.
