North Bay area residents may notice more planes lower into the sky in the coming days, due to the tactical training exercises that will take place there May 6-13.
The 8th Wing in Trenton, which organizes these exercises, said the two Hercules model planes can perform low-altitude, high-speed maneuvers and perform turns.
According to a press release, these exercises are being conducted to these skills are maintained in Canada so that aircrews are prepared to perform these maneuvers in potentially life -threatening situations.
Armed force indicates placement do everything possible to disturb the population as much as possible.
The press release indicates that the planes will conduct the exercises is larger than many passenger aircraft and may appear to be flying less than they actually areindicating that pilots will remain at a minimum height of 60 meters.
