Police arrested a 21-year-old man following a hit-and-run Wednesday night in northwest Toronto. The victim sustained life -threatening injuries.
Police said the victim, a 41-year-old man, was riding an e-bike north on Keele Street around 11:15 pm Wednesday when he was hit by a suspect traveling in the same direction.
The driver fled, officials said, eventually arresting a Bradford man.
He was charged with dangerous driving causing bodily injury and leaving the scene of an accident that caused bodily injury.
He is set to appear in court Friday morning.
Investigators are still searching for the accused’s vehicle. It was an old black Honda Civic model with damage to the front bumper, hood and/or windshield, according to police.
Police are asking anyone with clues to contact them.
