Two fires considered suspicious occurred on the North Shore at the end of the day Friday.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) indicates that a body was found in a burnt -out residence in Colombier, where firefighters went around 6:30 pm Friday.
Major Crimes investigators were called to the scene and two technicians will go to the scene today to examine the scene. Ang SQ specifies that an autopsy and examination needs to be performed to identify the victim.
No one was injured in the Baie-Comeau fire
Another fire services intervention took place earlier, around 4 pm Friday, in Baie-Comeau, where a residence was completely destroyed by fire.
Three more homes were damaged. No damage was caused by the fire, but the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
