Major Drug Seizures and Arrests in Ottawa

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Drug Unit was raided on Friday when large quantities of drugs were seized and six people were arrested.

After a three -month investigation, police raided six homes in Ottawa on Friday morning.

The operation resulted in police seizing large amounts of drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine tablets, magic mushrooms, fentanyl and cannabis products.

Various paraphernalia related to drug trafficking and replica firearms were also seized.

Police arrested six people between the ages of 25 and 34. They have been released and are scheduled to appear in court on July 12.

Defendants face several charges, including possession of a prohibited substance for the purpose of trafficking or distribution.

Another person is still wanted by the police in connection with this case.
