Man stabbed in Weymouth, Nova Scotia

One man is in hospital after an incident that occurred overnight from Saturday to Sunday in Weymouth, a village in Digby County, southwest Nova Scotia.

Police intervened around 2 a.m. on a section of Route 1 also called Evangeline Road.

Someone was stabbed, someone pointed a gun, and an all-terrain vehicle caught fire, Angela said Corscaddena spokesman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in the province.

The stabbed man was taken to Yarmouth Hospital for treatment. We are not afraid for our lives.

Ang RCMP did not disclose on Saturday afternoon any information on the two individuals involved in this dispute.

A series of accidents MTB Saturday

Saturday was full of accidents involving all-terrain vehicles, the RCMP of Nova Scotia.

A woman was seriously injured in a collision involving adjacent vehicles just before 2 pm in the county of KingsNova Scotia.

The passenger was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter with serious injuries.

The injured driver was also taken to Halifax by ambulance.

In the middle of the afternoon on Saturday, a man was injured in the Annapolis area due to a collision between a vehicle and a dirt bike. The driver was taken to hospital with non -life threatening injuries.

Eventually, a driver MTB was picked up by an ambulance following a collision in the area ofEast Hants. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

Finally, around 5 pm, a collision involving a MTB occurred in the county of Colchester. The driver and passenger sustained minor injuries.

At the beginning of the sunny day, the RCMP asking off-road vehicle enthusiasts to slow down, drive carefully and conduct their activities in a safe and respectful manner.
