Assiniboine Park was the center of Winnipeg families as they celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday after two years marked by pandemics and health restrictions.
A brunch was arranged in the Park Café area, which was sold out.

Kristin Mozel, a Manitoban who was present at Assiniboine Park with her family members was happy to celebrate this holiday with her loved ones.
It has become our tradition. We did this for almost three years. At COVID-19 it stopped and this year we saw it rise again and we are very happy to be back.
Darlene Mozel recalls that last year, it was possible to meet in the park but observe at a physical distance. There has been quite a change in this year, which he wonders.
