Private pension is an investment fund.
Esperandio says that private pension meets the requirements of being a mutual fund and is the best option today for those who want to have extra money for retirement.
“Pension is a mutual fund as well as its legal and tax aspects. Today there are different managers and different types of private pension funds. There are various solutions emerging,” he says on the Econoweek channel.
According to the expert, different types of funds cater to different investor profiles, from the most conservative to the boldest. “For example, the boldest funds aim to increase the value of assets invested there, despite more abrupt fluctuations in the short to medium term,” he says.
What options are there apart from individual retirement?
According to Sperandio, “nothing prevents you from investing in retirement on your own, diversifying your investments”.
The economist says there are other options for those who hesitate to invest in private pension funds, such as fixed-income bonds and stock funds.
“If you are already in the phase of earning extra income in retirement, Fixed Rate Treasury and semi-interest payable IPCA Treasury may be a solution. A legacy of upfront benefits,” he declares.
