Bellegarde’s Francophone community association, the ACFB, posted on Facebook on Saturday a call to fill positions on its board of directors.
In the publication, the ACFB has already been mentioned is going through a very critical moment of staff shortage.
The community as a whole seems to be experiencing a staff shortage for several years.
Nicolas Duny spoke about this with Claire Bélanger-Parker, director of CNT management group, which is a Saskatchewan company that notably offers association management services.
According to him, labor shortage is a global problem.
He explained that there is a small pool of staff available to fill the positions.
Claire Bélanger-Parker added that there are shortcomings in the management of the boards of directors and especially in the division of tasks.
He advises associations to clearly define what is expected of members so they know what they are doing.
