Public Security of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais is still searching for a man who sprayed cayenne pepper on a cyclist on April 22 around 2:25 pm on the Chemin de la Mine.

According to a press release dated May 3, an altercation occurred between the cyclist and the man in his forties who was in his vehicle. The first incident allegedly took place on the boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes in Gatineau.

The second incident took place on the Chemin de la Mine in Chelsea between the same two people.

Seconds after this second incident, the suspect sprayed cayenne pepper on the cyclist before fleeingis it written.

Public Security of MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais indicated last week that the suspect was driving a black BMW X1, four doors, registered in Quebec, and possibly from the year 2015.

On Thursday, police confirmed they found the vehicle involved in the dispute.

The investigation is ongoing to determine the driver of the vehicle.

The suspect was a Caucasian man, speaking French, possibly about 40 years old, tall and with short dark hair and bald.it says.
