TV Mundial employees of the Valdemiro Santiago church are holding a meeting this Monday morning (4) to decide whether to go on strike for the 3rd time since November. Reason: Delay in payments and benefits in addition to non-deposit of FGTS.
As of Monday morning, about 17 employees had been laid off. All of them had participated in the last strikes.
The Radialistas union says Valdemiro “retaliated” (for the same reason) against workers who crossed their arms in November and December.
The layoffs began on the day the ceasefire, which ensured 3-month stability between the parties, ended. The union fears that the number of layoffs will exceed 80.
TV has about 120 employees.
Last year, the second strike ended after Valdemiro’s daughter, Pastor Rachel, struck a deal with the staff. part of the agreement was violated again.
