A convoy was organized in Saint-Cyrille-de-Wendover on Friday at 6 pm to pay tribute to Jasmin Béliveau. The 15-year-old died sadly in Drummondville on Wednesday night while riding his scooter.

The procession will begin at the home of Jasmin Béliveau’s family, on rue Anik, and will go to the scene of the accident, at the corner of rue Robert Bernard and boulevard René Lévesque.

Jasmin’s twin sisters Maxime and Megan organized the event. They want to express their desire to continue living despite the illness. Their relatives, neighbors and friends responded quickly to their call.

Jasmin is really surrounded. He was a little man with a joy in life, a sensitive, generous man, he always had a little joke in his pocket, which he could tell once, twice, ten times. He had very good friends, both female and male, he was a friendly little manrecollection of his sister.

Sitting around collapsing, looking at her pictures, in denial, she wouldn’t be proud to see us like this, so we do it for her.

A quote from Megan Beliveau, sister of Jasmin Beliveau

I lost my brother and he was my best friend at the same time. I will fight until my last breath for himadded Maxime Béliveau.

I know he will be glad we did it for him, because he will do the same for us.He added.

Jasmin’s mother Nancy Duperron also said she was deeply touched by the unity expressed since the tragedy. A gathering of students and parents awaited the family when they left the hospital on Wednesday night.

Countless people have brought us their words, their actions … The love I see passing through them, I see as if my big son is sending a message, saying “ listen, I’m going there the other way. “

A quote from Nancy Duperron, mother of Jasmin Beliveau.

He also called for caution. I dare to believe that leaving Jasmin and other young teenagers on the road will tell other drivers “listen, you have to be careful, you have to drive for others”.

He did not know the circumstances surrounding the accident, but indicated that he did not blame the driver. Whatever is given to us as a result, an accident is an accidenthe pointed out.

The convoy will pass through small streets to reach the scene of the accident where many orphaned relatives have already gone to collect their thoughts.
