Philippe Bond pleaded guilty to driving with a blood alcohol level that exceeded the legal limit.
The comedian and radio host admitted to accompanying the driver a blood alcohol level equal to or greater than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood, within two hours of stopping the operation of a mode of transportation.
The court sentenced him to a $ 1,000 fine and a one -year driving ban.
The defendant was present in the courtroom, blue plaid shirt, but did not give a statement.
Philippe Bond’s lawyer Jean-Daniel Debkoski explained that his client was attacked by a citizen who saw him leave in a car after drinking alcohol on March 31.
Following this call, the police stopped two or three hotels from Riviere-du-Loup before he could be seen coming with his technicians. Bond blew the device, then took him to the station where he had a reading of 100 mg of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood.
The file was moved from Rivière-du-Loup to Saint-Jérôme, because he lives in this district.
