Sainte-Foy: two people arrested for vandalism and trespassing and theft

A man was arrested for entering a business on chemin Sainte-Foy last night from Wednesday to Thursday. Authorities also arrested a woman in connection with the case.

Just after 1 a.m., the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) arrested at the scene a resident of the area. Police quickly got their hands on the 50-year-old suspect, who tried to flee on foot, can we read in the press release of SPVQ.

When the investigation is completed, the SPVQ was able to arrest a 43-year-old woman in connection with the same incident.

Police authorities have reason to believe that the two suspects, who were also released on promise to appear, were involved in several stories of theft that took place on Myrand Street in recent weeks, still in Sainte-Foy.
