The event took place on December 20 at a National Bank branch in Plessisville, near a Sûreté du Québec (SQ) station.

The Princeville man broadcast his offense live on social media. He entered the bank armed, claimed the contents of the cash drawers and left the area, inviting customers present to help themselves with the notes that fell to the ground.

A pre -sentence report is now requested for the individual still incarcerated.

He will be greeted by a probation officer for the preparation of the report prior to the sentence. The reason we’re asking that is that these are accusations that are equally very serious, and we want to know what went into his head so that he could not only do that, but film himself and everything.explained Me Jean-Philippe Anctil, his lawyer.

The parties will return to court on Sept. 13 for sentence submissions.

According to the Crown, a prison sentence is no longer avoidable.
