Vitalité 55+ held its annual general meeting on May 27 in Saskatoon, in conjunction with the launch of the Vitalité Health Forum 2022 in partnership with Réseau Santé en français de la Saskatchewan.
This is the first frontal annual general meeting in two years due to the pandemic.
Vitalité 55+ president Michel Vézina, said members were happy to see everything in person.
Michel Vézina explained that during the assembly, a report was presented on the year’s activities.
Three elements were highlighted in the report: virtual activities, the rise of pickleball, and a meeting with Minister of Health and Addictions, Seniors and Rural and Remote Health Everett Hindley.
Furthermore, accessibility to transportation, to Francophone services and to accommodation are topics raised by the aging population.
