This steep walk can only be done uphill. Hikers are invited to purchase a ticket to get off the cable car, where wearing a mask is mandatory.

Two hikers climbed a very steep path in the forest.

This is the only descent option while maintenance is underway on the nearby British Columbia Mountaineering Club (BCMC) trail, Metro Vancouver warns.

The lower part of the trail BCMC will be closed Monday through Friday through June 30 inclusive. If permitted, the venue will reopen to the public on weekends and public holidaysMetro Vancouver said in a statement.

The regional administration also advises guests to be careful around the construction area.

However, it is possible to opt for a detour through the Baden-Powell and Larsen trails and thus find the upper part of the trail BCMC near marker 29, Metro Vancouver said.
