Granada made official this Monday the transfer to Valladolid in the middle Ramon Rodriguez ‘Monchu’ After getting promoted to LaLiga Santander, a team from Pucelano in which the footballer was on loan since the last winter market.
“The midfielder Monchu Rodríguez, who has remained on loan at Real Valladolid during the second part of the 21-22 season, he will definitively leave for the Valladolid club after fulfilling the conditions for the transfer agreement between both entities,” Granada said in a statement on Monday.
In the transfer agreement there was a mandatory purchase option for the Pucelano team in the event of promotion to LaLiga Santander, which is what has caused the definitive transfer of the player, who has signed a new contract with Valladolid until June 2026.

In the first half of the season that just ended, he played fourteen LaLiga Santander games with Granada and two more in the Copa del Rey.
Monchu’s is the first departure in Granada of a footballer who had a valid contract after the team’s relegation to LaLiga SmartBank.
The the rojiblanco club thanked Monchu “for his work during his stay in Granada” and wished him “good luck in his professional future”.
