A Sherbrooke resident found out the hard way last week that anyone who wants a jacket that resembles the colors of Hells Angels doesn’t wear it.
He was stopped by an individual as he was traveling down rue Saint-Louis on an electric scooter.
The man on the street was wearing a black online gambling leather jacket with a resemblance to a biker jacket. The suspect cut him off. He asked her if she had permission to wear this jacket. However, the 26-year-old man did not listen to what the victim was saying to him. He took off his clothes and hit her several times. Because of the victim’s statement along with a witness, the suspect was tracked down.
Armed with a search warrant, investigators said SPS searched the suspect’s home on Dorval Street. Several items of Hells Angels clothing were found at the scene.
A brass knuckles as well as an Audi A4 vehicle were taken as offense-related property.
The suspect was identified as a subordinate of Gitans de Sherbrooke, the school club of the Sherbrooke division of the Hells Angels.
He will be charged with robbery.
