The 10 worst roads in Ontario, according to the CAA

Barton Street in Hamilton, Eglinton Avenue in Toronto and Carling Avenue in Ottawa are among the province’s lowest lanes, according to the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) 2022 list.

The AAC publishes each year an unscientific list of the worst roads in the province.

This year, Barton Street in Hamilton ranks number one.

The 10 worst streets in Ontario, according to AAC :

  1. Barton Street East, Hamilton
  2. Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto
  3. Barker Street, County Prince Edward
  4. Regional Road 49, County of Prince Edward
  5. Carling Avenue, Ottawa
  6. Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto
  7. Lake Shore Boulevard East, Toronto
  8. Finch Avenue West, Toronto
  9. Bronson Avenue, Ottawa
  10. Queen Street, Kingston

In the Southwest, Plank Street and College Avenue in Sarnia and the Lauzon, University and Tecumseh arteries in Windsor also receive poor ratings from motorists.

The same goes for Algonquin Boulevard East in Timmins and the Lansing, Paris and Fielding thoroughfares in Sudbury.
