The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is seeking public assistance in identifying a man who allegedly witnessed a sexual assault that took place in the spring, in Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier.

The incident took place on April 1st.
A woman was allegedly injured while driving in a woods near Duchesnay Tourist Station.

In the same time frame, this man was seen walking in the parking lot of the stationrefers to the Sûreté du Québec in a press release released on Thursday.
Police have searched the area to find the attacker, but to no avail.

there is reason to believe that the man captured on resort security cameras may have witnessed the events. Investigators want to contact the individual to see if they have any information that will help the investigation progress.Anyone with information relevant to this case is requested to contact the Criminal Information Center of the Sûreté du Québec at 1-800-659-4264.
