Their relationship, which was strained, was further damaged in 2019, he added. In February of that year, Tracy Couture-Starosta explained that David Moss quit his job as a tattoo artist to rap on the internet.

Later, in March, David Moss called him for help.

Tracy Couture-Starosta called police begging them to take David Moss somewhere. He said he was advised at that time to keep his distance from the accused.

Police and a special unit then visited David Moss to encourage him to see a psychologist. An appointment was made for the afternoon. However, David Moss did not show up, according to Tracy Couture-Starosta.

During this time, the victim’s mother Melissa Desrosiers was in regular contact with the defendants. Tracy Couture-Starosta felt like Melissa Desrosiers was forced to help David Moss.

Tracy Couture-Starosta testified that she warned Melissa Desrosier to stay away from David Moss, without success.

According to the agreed statement of facts, on May 18, 2020, Melissa Desrosiers was concerned about David Moss. He invited it to his house. David Moss allegedly attacked his daughter with a pair of scissors while tying her up.
