The Sûreté du Québec arrested four individuals following a series of searches conducted Wednesday in Val-d’Or.
Key crime investigators and SQ’s Tactical Intervention Group searched four residences located on Sleepy Road and Route 117 in Louvicourt, as well as on Centrale Avenue and Iberville Street in Val-d’Or.
According to information provided by the Sûreté du Québec, police seized more than 14,500 methamphetamine tablets, more than 500 grams of cocaine, as well as large quantities of hashish, illicit cannabis, LSD, prescription drugs and ecstasy.
The searches also revealed a gun, a crossbow and more than $ 12,000 in Canadian currency.
Two women and two men, aged 29 to 48, were arrested and then released until their release. Various cases related to drug trafficking can be filed against them.
