Three teenagers aboard the stolen car were arrested in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police arrested three men in Mississauga on Thursday while riding in a stolen car. The car was used for a theft two days before Brampton.

Three men, ages 14, 16, and 17, were arrested at 7:30 pm June 9 in the Eglinton Avenue East and Central Parkway East area of ​​Mississauga while riding in a stolen Toyota car.

The car was stolen in the York Region on June 7 and used in a drugstore robbery in Brampton the same day. Police also said the boys were on their way to another robbery when the arrest took place.

Following a preliminary investigation, this group is believed to be involved in additional pharmacy robberies in the Peel Region on May 24, June 1, June 2, June 7 and June 9. In total, the three young men are facing 56 charges, according to to the police.

The three teenagers appeared in court on June 10, 2022 and a general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act prohibits the disclosure of the names of the accused.
