According to the fundraising campaign website, the goal is to raise $ 20,000 in donations. The total amount of donations collected is beyond this goal, more than $ 22,000.
These funds are notably to be used to pay for the costs associated with the kidney transplant that Éveline Petit received from her father, Marquis Petit. The money raised will also be used to fund the nephrology department at Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg.
