The 2022 Italian Super Cup, which they will play AC Milan and InterLeague and Cup champion, respectively, will be played in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, returning to settle outside the Italian borders after two years.
The announcement was made this Friday through a statement from the League Series Abeing the thirty-fifth edition of a competition that has already been played outside of Italy on ten other occasions.
Thus, after two editions held in Italy, the Super Cup returns to Arabia for the third time. The first time it was played in that country was in 2018, in Gedda, with Juventus Turin’s victory over Milan (1-0).
Riyadh has already hosted the competition, at Mrsool Park in 2019, with Lazio’s victory over Juventus Turin (3-1).
