A teenager was stabbed Friday afternoon in the parking lot of a restaurant located at the intersection of boulevard Newman and avenue Dollard, in the borough of LaSalle, in Montreal. His life was not in danger, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) determined.
A call to 911 around 3:15 pm and the police Montreal Police Department SPVM quickly go to the scene, explains agent Caroline Chèvrefils.
At the scene, officers saw the victim, a 15-year-old man. The latter sustained minor injuries caused by a knife, Ms. continued. Chèvrefils.
According to photos of several surveillance cameras viewed by police, a conflict between several teenagers could have escalated, and one of them was wounded with a knife.
The teenager was transferred to a hospital center. His life would not be in danger.
The investigation of Montreal Police Department SPVM was conducted to determine the exact circumstances of the incident, but no suspects have been identified at the moment and no arrests have been made, agent Chèvrefils said.
The scene of the attack was protected to allow investigators and forensic identification technicians to shed light on what happened.
