After four days of debates, sometimes heated, the National Assembly approved this Friday in first reading the “emergency” bill for purchasing power, a text that is supposed to alleviate the effects of inflation and the energy crisis, with measures such as the increase in the ceiling of the “Macron bonus” or the spousal allowance for the disabled adult (AAH).

The text served as evidence for the presidential field. Already deprived of an absolute majority, he had to count on the support of the elected LR and RN who voted in favor of the text and welcomed certain “advances” while the left was outraged at a project in the form of a “declaration of war on wages.” On the side of the Nupes, the Socialists mostly abstained, when the other groups voted against.

The debate resumes this Friday afternoon in the hemicycle of the Palais-Bourbon: the deputies will now examine the finance reform bill that completes these measures and includes some explosive proposals such as the abolition of the audiovisual license fee.
