Several years ago Edgardo Bauza stopped being the coach of San Lorenzo. And who less than he had to give up his profession as technical director for health reasons. But ‘Patón’ is still present in the Boedo club and has now received a well-deserved place thanks to an exciting tribute that has brought together his technical staff, including his son Maximiliano, his former Barça managers and management. An impressive mural was discovered at the entrance to the popular New Gasometer site and the Primera locker room was named after him.

Bauza is a hero of Boedo. He was the great liberator of San Lorenzo, who finally stripped him of the curse of not being able to reach the most important trophy on this part of the planet.
