As confirmed by FIFA in the description of the playlist that tries to put the audience anxiously awaiting the start of the World Cup which will start on Sunday 20 November, in a World Cup atmosphere, the update of the songs they will be weekly and will be in effect during that period.

FIFA Sound, the organization’s profile on Spotify, was created in January 2021 with the aim of innovating and uniting through football and music.

Also, songs by other famous artists such as Puerto Rican Ricky Martin, Lady Gagareggaeton Nicky Jam, Ozuna, Demi Lovato, avicii, Calvin Harris, among others. But in the preparation of the current list there is a particularity that has caught the attention in this update: There are no artists or songs of Argentine origin. And clearly, in the Argentine public it caused concern.

Not only are there no songs that have emerged in our lands, but there are also no songs that have been recorded in the memory of Argentines such as the Argentine national team or that historically generate a memory of Argentine footballers, such as the song “You give me more every day” by Valeria Lynch which automatically refers to the exploits of Diego Armando Maradona in Mexico 1986.

Beyond the present, the remembered song does not even appear on the plane “An Italian summer” created for him World Cup Italy 90 which, for many, is the best in history. Thus, FIFA tries, through music, to generate a great World Cup atmosphere to start experiencing the event that will have a champion on December 18th.
