The main pursuer who had the Belgrano champion, the Instituto, will attempt the first step to achieve the second promotion to the Professional Football League (LPF) granted by the First National Team. The match is played at the Ciudad de Caseros stadium from 20:10, televised by TyC Sports and refereed by Luis Lobo Medina. The retaliation will take place on Saturday, November 19 at the Juan Domingo Perón stadium, of the Institute, located in the Alta Córdoba neighborhood.

In the event that at the end of the 180 minutes there is an equal number of points and goal balance, the Instituto, led by Lucas Bovaglio, will be promoted to the first division because they finished the regular season with 68 points against Pincha de Caseros’ 57.

Instituto’s presence here is logical and expected as they completed an excellent campaign with 63% efficiency, unbeaten at home and if they failed to reach the title it was thanks to the extraordinary performance of champion Belgrano.

La Gloria rested in the first two stages of the redoubt, an advantage obtained by being the runners-up, and made his debut in the semifinals against the demanding Defensores de Belgrano, who had eliminated All Boys and San Martín de Tucumán, third in the season . They drew goalless in Bajo Nuñez and in Alta Córdoba they beat Dragón 2-0 and reached this final.

Estudiantes was not in anyone’s plans to reach this final, but they navigated their way to the definition in stunning fashion, eliminating Chaco For Ever, at home 3-0, Estudiantes de Ríos Cuarto, 1-0 in Córdoba, and Ginnastica and Fencing 1-0 in Mendoza.

If it looks solid, the team led by Walter Otta is undoubtedly its defense. Pincha reached this final without a goal against small teams, and Lucas Bruera’s goal has only received one goal in their last nine matches and went unbeaten for 520 minutes.

The top scorer of Estudiantes and a fundamental piece in the reduced is Facundo Castelli, emerged at the Institute, where he played between 2014 and 2019, with 61 games and seven goals.

In the Cordoba team, the doubt would be with the probable entry of Claudio Pombo’s Nicolás Watson, in a variant that would give more impact to the midfield.

Meanwhile, Otta will have to make a change at Pincha as defender Lautaro Lusnig was sent off in Mendoza and will be replaced by Uruguayan Nicolás Fernández.
