After beating the United Arab Emirates, the Argentine national team has settled in Qatar and Lionel Scaloni’s team is already focused on next Tuesday’s match. Through the official reports of the Argentine national team it was possible to follow minute by minute the arrival of the ‘Scaloneta’ in the lands of Qatar. And it was through these networks that the first images of the team in concentration were also seen. The hotel and training ground, completely set in Argentina, were filmed and even filmed by the protagonists.

Leandro Paredes and Dibu Martínez, responsible for the World Cup tour

More than one of the Argentina national team’s banners is usually active in the nets and, in Qatar, it looks like it will be no exception. Upon their arrival in Doha, the players led by Lionel Scaloni found accommodation completely modified for their comfort, and more than one showed them on the networks. This is the case of Dibu Martínez, who captured the interior of one of the rooms through his Instagram.

In the cutout you can see the room where the goalkeeper will concentrate for the next few weeks. In the foreground, the players’ beds stand out, featuring a rather particular detail: even the sheets bear the logo of the Argentine Football Federation. In the background, a poster that crosses the entire room, and which reads as follows: “We are all, we are one”.

A few minutes later, Martínez uploaded a photo of what the hotel entrance looks like at this time. The Westin Doha Hotel is as Argentinian as ever, and while a giant AFA logo hangs from the first floor of the complex, another poster similar to the one seen in the rooms appears underneath. How could it be otherwise, who leads the blow-up is none other than Leo Messi.

The official accounts of the Selection, however, They captured many more photos among which one stands out from the others: the one on the outskirts of the hotel, from where you can see giant letters welcoming the 26 chosen ones, and which form the following sentence: “Welcome, Champions of America”. In addition, various lots are exposed both outside and inside the hotel, so that the “Scaloneta” feels like home.

At the same time, another who revealed the intimacy of concentration was Leandro Paredes, one of the greatest figures of the Argentine national team. The Juventus midfielder uploaded a video to his Instagram account, in which he showed the corridors of the hotel and the door to his room, where he will concentrate with none other than Ángel Di María. In the post, he was in charge of tagging the “Noodle”, who would share the post a few minutes later.

Both are teammates in both the Argentina national team and the ‘Old Lady’, and will now have to share room B204. Di María also posted a photo on his Instagram, where he can be seen as soon as he arrived in Qatar, with a suitcase in hand and a banner in the background welcoming the players. For ‘Angelito’ this will be his fourth World Cup.

The view from the plane, with the players as protagonists

Just as the players took care of showing the inside of the concentration through their social networks, some collaborators of the Argentine national team also took care of showing the team minute by minute before their arrival in Doha. The AFA has released a video through its official accounts, where you can see the protagonists on the plane to Qatar.

In the video, which lasts more than a minute, you can see -almost- all of Lionel Scaloni’s squad to play in this new World Cup. Among the laughs, the protagonists shared comments and even a few jokes. Who films, travels the plane from one end to the other, and behind it all you see Leo Messi, talking with Rodrigo De Paul, Ángel Di María and ‘Papu’ Gómez. The ‘Ten’ managed to snatch a smile from the camera, thus closing the video.
