The River Foundation’s first solidarity auction in 2022 left a millionaire collection. Thanks to the sale of (signed) shirts used by Julián Álvarez, Enzo Fernández, Matías Suárez and David Martínez against Fortaleza, for the Copa Libertadores, nearly a million pesos were raised, a record figure for this event that takes place every years.

The collection is exactly 909,000 pesos. And the amount raised, as reported by the River Foundation, will be allocated to the “Youth to the World” program, where the foundation provides educational scholarships to high school students from the Filii Dei school and university students, who live in the Barrio Father Carlos Mugica (former neighborhood 31).

At the auction, conducted by the site “biendebiensubastas”, the jacket that allowed River to collect the most money was that of Julián Álvarez. Autographed by “Araña” himself, it sold for 435,000 pesos.

The next, with very particular detail, was that of Fernández. For the first time since the auction was conducted, the person in charge of getting the figure of the moment t-shirt used the buy option, resulting in the end of the auction and no more accepted bids (as long as the offer is not quintupled ). ). How much? 255,000 pesos.

Finally, Suárez and Martínez left an amount of 123,000 and 96,000 pesos, respectively, which led to the closure of the collection to that record number that would soon tread on one million.

“The proceeds are equivalent to 181 educational scholarships, which allows us to maintain the program for three months so that more men and women not only stay in the education system but also have skills that allow them to leave. of more trained to continue learning and reaching. his first job. Thank you for helping us ensure that more and more young people practice using the necessary tools to play with life ”, explains Lucía de la Vega, Executive Director of Fundación River.

“Bien de bien” is already conducting solidarity auctions to help various entities. At River, for example, he has already auctioned Gallardo’s sack. And soon will come the green diver that Pato Fillol used in the ’78 World Cup.
