Alisson spoke after the Brazilian team lost in the penalty shootout
Goalkeeper Alisson opened his heart about Brazil’s defeat against Croatia in the World Cup in Qatar. The dispute ended up going to penalties and in addition to two of our players having missed the goal, the goalkeeper was unable to save any shot.
“Still very difficult to deal with this defeat. But, at the same time, I feel proud to have been part of this group, which fought and left everything they had on the field! The football that gave me many joys, also made me sad, and this is the biggest one!” wrote in the caption of a photo of him on the pitch.
However, he stated that he hopes the disappointment will have a good result and is not entirely hopeless about Brazil’s title. “It will take time to heal this wound, but it will heal. We will move forward, rebuilding and strengthening ourselves even more, because at the end of the day, that is the effect of failure on us when we face it head on, it makes us stronger! Thank you to everyone who cheered for us in this cup! The dream is still alive…”finished.
