Cristiano Ronaldo hit the target in his return to action with Manchester United on Saturday after not playing following the sudden death of his son.

The Portuguese raised his left arm and pointed to the sky to underline, in a very sensible way, his 100th goal in the English Premier League, which was scored in the first half of the match against Arsenal. Team fans applauded the legendary No. 7 in the seventh minute of play, to show their unity.

Ronaldo and his wife Georgina Rodriguez announced on Monday that one of their twins had died. CR7 missed the game against Liverpool on Tuesday, which ended in a 4-0 defeat.

His goal from the Emirates Stadium pitch came in the 34th minute, closing the gap to 2-1 in favor of Arsenal. This is his 16th goal in the Premier League this season, and they are added to the 84 others scored in his first spell at Manchester United between 2003 and 2009.
