Spanish court denies freedom to Daniel Alves

The request for freedom from the defense of Daniel Alves was denied by the Spanish Justice. That’s because the player’s chance of escape was considered high.

The player’s lawyers had asked him to wait for the trial outside bars, which the defense of the young woman who accuses him of rape and the Public Prosecutor’s Office argued against.

First he said he didn’t know her, then he said there was consensual sex and now he claims he was the one who was abused, as she would have performed oral sex on him without her permission.

The young woman says she entered the bathroom with the player thinking it was another VIP area and there he forced her to perform oral sex and forcibly penetrated her. They fought and she left the scene. The investigation confirms the player’s semen and marks of aggression on the young woman’s body.
