Rayados de Monterrey fans are furious with Esteban Andrada: “Boca cheated on us”

Esteban Andrada, who knows how to be champion with Boca on three occasions, is not going through his best moments at Monterrey, Mexico, a club where he moved after leaving Xeneize. And he doesn’t stop receiving criticism for his poor performance in Rayados.

The club looked up to Andrada because, in addition to being one of the best goalkeepers in the local tournament, he participated in the Argentina National Team and won several championships (he won the Argentine Super Cup, the Super League and the League Cup ) added to your experience. But just as supporters were excited (and many were) at his arrival, now they feel “angry” and even “swindled by Boca.”

How did such a sudden change of heart occur? On date 16 of the MX League, just one day before the end of the championship, the team was in eighth position in the table, 15 points behind the leader. And, beyond the distance from the top positions, in the last game they fell 3-0 on their visit to Pachuca.

The goleada angered the fans. And everyone pointed the spotlights of criticism towards Vermin Andrada, who has been blamed for the difficult setback because they say the three goals were due to the goalkeeper’s mistakes.

The first goal of the afternoon, converted by Luis Chávez, happened from a mid-range shot, in which they warned that the former Lanús could do “something else” to prevent it.

In the second goal, scored by Roberto de la Rosa one-on-one, the ball ran under Andrada’s legs, so he couldn’t stop the locals from increasing their advantage.

But the latter, also from Chavez, is the most angry and skeptical of the supporters. It was born from a free kick, the ball fell in the form of a center in the area, it hurt a few centimeters from the former 1 of Xeneize and even so, he did not even move it to avoid the beating.
