Nagelsmann learned of his sacking from Bayern Munich through the German press and during a skiing holiday in Austria with his girlfriend, it has emerged in the last few hours.
The coach, who was skiing with his girlfriend in the Zillertal valley, discovered in the press the news that he had lost his job after being sacked by Bayern Munich, surprised because the team’s results were good, according to the German Bild newspaper. It happened a few hours before the Bavarians made the news official.
Bayern Munich are second in the Bundesliga and have just eliminated Paris Saint Germain led by Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbbapé in the round of 16 of the Champions League, but this was not enough for Nagelsman to continue and, according to the German press, his bad relationship with some campus referents led to his firing.
