Doman himself was the main target of the opposing chants, although Néstor Grindetti and Juan Marconi, his comrades in the triumvirate of vice presidents, were also recipients of the associate’s anger.

“(Daniel) Seoane-(Jorge) Damiani-(Cristian) Ritondo- (Fernando) Sciaccaluga. They are traitor mercenaries and Anti-Independiente: expulsion as members now”, was one of the flags that the Independiente fan raised in the march protest made today in Avellaneda.

“If they privatize us, we will go for their families”, reads another “rag” hung up by a dozen supporters, who suggested, and not on good terms, that the journalists who followed the procession move away from the front of the club’s headquarters.
