The Argentina national team took third place in the Under-23 Softball World Cup held in Paraná. However, the outgoing note has to do with a scandal that took place during the first inning of the match which ended with the expulsion of eight players, four for each team.
Argentina achieved an absolute victory against the Mexican national team. The victory was a sensational 10-1, which allowed the local team to keep third place in the World Cup played in Entre Ríos.
